Key Stage 1 Pack launched

Wits End has just launched its NEW Key Stage 1 pack for parents of rising fives. This pack contains everything you need to cover the whole of the National Curriculum Key Stage 1, that is, Year 1 and Year 2 combined.

Lindsay Brown of Wits End Curriculum Solutions said, "We understand that children are ready to begin more 'formal' learning at different ages, and once they start they will learn some things quickly and need to spend more time to practise others."

The new Key Stage 1 pack includes advice on how to help your child to learn to read, and early maths activities, as well as science experiments, art and craft, music, cookery and an introduction to using the computer. As your child's understanding of the world expands, we introduce geography and history.

Lindsay continued, "We want to give you the opportunity to help your child make the connections which will help him or her really enjoy learning as they get older."
