About Wits End

The idea for Wits End Curriculum Solutions was conceived in 2004 by two primary school teachers, Debbie Cunningham and Lindsay Brown.

Debbie has a BEd Honours degree and has been a teacher for 17 years. She specialises in English and Special Needs, and home educates her three children. Lindsay has a BA Honours degree in Literature and European & Asian History and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, and was a primary teacher for 5 years before deciding to home educate her children.

Debbie and Lindsay recognized the need for a UK-based curriculum to be made available to home educating parents. The response of parents who have invested in Wits End packages has been overwhelmingly positive, confirming their initial instincts.

They have used their combined experience gained over many years to carefully select and evaluate the best educational resources currently on the market in the UK, and to create parent's guidance notes and easy-to-follow work schedules for all subjects in the National Curriculum.
